Join us on the morning of Thursday 11 October for an exclusive breakfast and interactive skills session with Clifford Chance.
The event takes place from 9:15am until 11:30am at the firm’s headquarters in Canary Wharf, London. Over breakfast, 30 STEM Future Lawyers members will be able to chat informally to Clifford Chance lawyers who themselves converted to law from science, technology, engineering and maths subjects. Members of the firm’s graduate recruitment team will also be on hand.
A partner welcome will follow, alongside a short talk about the skills that STEM students can bring to the law. These skills will be brought to life in an interactive session about Open Banking, led by a lawyer specialising in financial regulation and fintech, with a degree in physics and philosophy. The session will include interactive discussions and exercises facilitated by trainees and associates.
Part of Clifford Chance's busy global Tech Group, fintech is a growing area for the firm, which represents the world’s major payment providers in everything from product development, regulatory advice and transactional assistance, to risk management and dispute resolution.
